Many parents and guardians ask us how the Free Trial works, and what happens during the seven (7) days that they have to use IMO to assess their child.
During the trial period you will have an opportunity to use our online learning system to assess your child's math proficiency. The child will also be able to practice lessons assigned to them by you or by the system. For a better understanding of how IMO works, we've outlined the process below.
Step 1: Parent & Child
Enrolls - Creating login accounts for both the parent and the child.
On successful enrollment the following happens:
- Parent
receives a Welcome email with confirmation of the login ID
and password
- Child
receives a Welcome email with confirmation of the login ID
and password (if the child was enrolled using a LOGIN ID,
then the email address used for communicating with
the child will receive this Welcome email)
- IMO assigns
the first day's assignments to the Child based upon the enrolled Grade.
Step 2: What happens each day of
the 7-day Free trial period?
Role of IMO
Each
night during the free trial period, IMO will
automatically assign the next day’s work to the child, using the child's enrolled grade. For example, if a child is enrolled in grade 5, IMO will automatically assign two (2) Practice Lessons from our 5th grade curriculum – each comprising of 35 questions. IMO will send a notification email to the parent and child each day.
Role of the Child
The Child needs to login at Indian Math Online every day of the seven (7) days during the free trial period – using his / her login ID and password. Each day, at least one (1) assignment (either an Assessment or a Practice Lesson) will be waiting for the Child to work on. Once the Child completes that particular day’s assigned work, IMO will evaluate the assignment(s) and post the results for the parent and child to view.
Role of the Parent
While it is not
mandatory for the parent to login every day, we highly
recommend that the parent login each day of the seven (7)
days and view the results of their child's work. After
logging in, the parent will see a summary of the results for
that particular day’s work. The parent can click on “View
Results” to see more details on the results for a particular
assignment. [Click here for

Step 3: What happens at the
conclusion of the Free trial period?
At the
conclusion of the free trial period, IMO will prepare
a final Free Trial report and email the
report to the parent. The report will include details on how
your child performed during the 7 days. IMO
will also include specific recommendations on what your
child should do in those topics that he or she is found to
be less proficient. [Click here
